Observers

Observers are a type of Agents contributing to the security and liveness of Entangle by "observing" for malfunctioning Transmitters.

Observers are composed of all approved Transmitters, reporting results of individually employed Transmitters by Distributors. Results are processed on the Controller, leading to distribution of rewards or slashing of Transmitter deposits in $NGL Tokens.

The diagram displays a process with five main steps involving Observers. 1) Transmitters achieve consensus on aggregated data. 2) The Conductor sends the data to the Circuit. 3) After verification, the operation is either successful or aborted. 4) Observers fetch data about the successful operation. 5) Observers submit reports of Transmitters who were part of the operation. 6) The Controller rewards or slashes Transmitters.
